NEW WEBSITE NEW VISION
Friends,
As we countdown to the end of 2025, I would like to share some special news. We have a new website – which you obviously know if you are here. But this has been a long time coming. In 2019 my center of operations kicked the bucket, you see, my laptop died. I tried to get it fixed but this guy I was working with in Phoenix at the time said it couldn’t be fixed and tried to sell me some crappy ones in his garage. I opted to use my phone for what became five years. I never bought a new laptop just used my phone to make calls, send e-mails and update social media. But my websites really suffered.
At some point my friend Sandi Nahas offered to build us a new website through her company Key Design Websites and they finished it and it’s up! Exciting. I think it looks lovely – hope you do too. She (and Dylan) also gave me a Mac Book Pro. I was a PC guy though so it’s been slow learning how to use the new OS and also I have just gotten really used to using my phone for everything. I’m gonna make a strong effort to end that streak of laziness though and things are afoot!
I will be updating a lot more often here as news comes down the pipeline regarding Matt Hopper, Matt Hopper & The Roman Candles as well as Hatcher Pass Agency (our booking arm) and Hatcher Pass Records (our label). All the websites are getting a facelift for 2026 and I am stoked to announce the label will be releasing our new album “Blowin’ Gold” on vinyl. In addition, seven other releases will be pressed and ready of sale by this summer. That includes The Gold Rush, Reverse Odyssey, Jersey Finger, High Hopes, Husky, Grand Ole Hopry and Outskirts of My Mind. We will have deals for you if you want to order the complete collection and stuff like that. We are also going to print up fresh new t-shirts and hoodies, stickers and maybe some other fun merchandise for you to buy and wear and represent.
